Create an API key in the web interface
Create an API key in the CosmicAC web interface to authenticate requests to a Managed Inference endpoint.
Create an API key in the CosmicAC web interface, and use it to authenticate requests to a Managed Inference endpoint that requires an authorization header.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure that you have the following.
- A running CosmicAC deployment. See Set up CosmicAC.
- Access to the CosmicAC web interface.
- The member role, the team lead role, or the platform administrator role in your active team. The key belongs to that team. See Teams and roles.
Steps
Open the API keys page
In the left navigation, click Settings, and then under Developer, click API keys.
Create the key
Click Create Key. In the Create API Key dialog, enter a Name, and then click Create.
Save the key
CosmicAC shows the full key only once. If you lose it, revoke the key and create a new one.
In the Save API Key dialog, click Copy, and then store the key somewhere safe. Click I have saved the key.
Confirm the key
Check that the new key appears at the top of the API keys list. The list shows the key's name, a preview of the key, when it was created, and when it was last used.
